Designs D.655.1 and D.655.2 from the Gio Ponti collection characterized by hand-painted white drawer fronts with applied handles in various woods (elm, walnut, mahogany and rosewood). The chest of drawers was designed in several versions between 1952 and 1955, and the new version was produced using original drawings kept in the Gio Ponti archives, with artistic direction for the Gio Ponti collection coming from Studio Cerri & Associati. The elm wood frame rests on satin brass legs.
