The MHC.2 is a reissue of a prototype bookcase designed in 1959 by Yasuhiko Itoh. It was made of bent wood, a complicated process at the time. It won a prize in the 3rd Selettiva competition in Cantù del 1959, and the bookcase is both elegant and sophisticated. Following the release of a limited edition of 100 numbered pieces, it is now available as a standard, unnumbered piece in curved wood covered in walnut.
