Sumo is an elegant and timeless armchair designed by Piero Lissoni in 2021.

Fixed-size armchair with tubular steel support frame sprung with coated rubber elastic straps, padded with 100% polyether-covered polyurethane foam with velvet backing and felt pad to protect the seat cushion, to which a vacant HPL panel veneered and trimmed with Canaletto walnut is attached. The backrest is available in a fixed version or with a headrest mechanism that can be adjusted in various positions, up to a maximum height of 82 cm. Seat cushion in polyurethane foam of varying density, covered with a mat of pre-washed and sterilized goose down. Upholstery in fabric or leather, both fully removable with zips and Velcro fastenings. Seat depth 63 cm.
