Description

An armchair that is both functional and decorative, which gives the impression of being crafted but has a contemporary look. Klara has a frame straight out of an experimental design with an extremely precise form in which the armrests, freed from the backrest, are structurally independent. The design is a reinterpretation of the spirit of the first steps towards industrial design, based on a close collaboration between art, industry and craftsmanship. Stylishly comfortable, it is reminiscent of the first mass-produced pieces of the early 20th century, not least thanks to the use of woven Viennese straw, a craft technique commonly used in the Friuli region of Italy a century ago. The frame is beech or oak. Seat and back covered with polyurethane flame-retardant foam on bent plywood. The Klara collection is available in three different versions:

  • with Viennese cane back
  • with fabric or leather back
  • with upholstered back with buttons
