Description
New material for a new way of sitting. This new way of sitting is likely to be more like reclining. The seat height is lower than usual, and the open design of the furniture allows for more freedom of movement. Spatial dimensions, layered patterns and use of color are the main aspects in fabric design. Ottoman history provides many wonderful examples of decorative interior fabrics combined with low seating, intended to encourage people to interact socially. Images of drinking tea, using a water pipe or enjoying a meal together are evoked. In addition, there are many examples of fabric designs in vibrant colors and with distinct graphic patterns, used in wide-open, spacious interiors. Furniture design differs from fabric design. Ottoman design is characterized by more rounded, soft and organic forms. This contrasts with the angular color compositions of the fabric and creates a wonderful symbiosis. Both designs also work very effectively on their own. Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam on an internal steel frame. The seat and back cushions are filled with polyester fiber over flame-retardant polyurethane foam and memory foam. The legs are steel with a powder-coated finish. Ottoman collection covers are not removable.
