The key inspiration for Il Naturale was to create a dining table with a purist and simple shape that emphasises the unique character, natural structure and beauty of solid wood with all its natural knots, grain and texture. Il Naturale reflects the know-how of true traditional craftsmanship in woodworking. The solid wood finish made by Schotten & Hansen has been naturally dried to preserve its original surface. The precious substances used, made of resins, oils and waxes, penetrate deep into the wood, which leads to the natural colouring of its surface, turning it into the most delicate shades taken from nature's palette. The top and base are solid oak dried naturally. The legs are always painted black.
