The Volare Due bed has a triangular profile in solid ash wood with a mocha finish. The bed frame is made of tulipwood and fully upholstered in Cuoio Saddle Extra or Pelle Frau® leather, as is the headboard, which is made of solid beech wood with internal birch plywood crossbars and fibreboard infill. The headrest is attached to the structure by metal spacers with a brown-grey finish and held in place by plates with the same finish. The central crossbar and leg, corner plates and cable supports are made of black-painted sheet steel. Two soft and sumptuous cushions, padded with polyester wadding and cotton canvas, are attached to the headrest by two leather straps. At the front of the headrest, the straps pass through a metal eyelet with a brown-grey finish and are attached to the back with buttons also with a brown-grey finish and the Poltrona Frau logo. The cushions are upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric with leather trim.
