The seat cushions of the Clayton sofa are decorated with delicate hand-stitching in an X-shape using contrasting thread. The seat springs are supported and supported by the structure of the hand-woven saddle leather straps. The architecture of the sofa is clear and light. The seat sits on steel legs with a ruthenium finish. The Clayton version combining leather with fabric or velvet cushion covers is particularly rich in sensual emotion. The backrest and armrest panels, made of steel with lightweight polyurethane foam, are joined by visible metal hinges with a ruthenium finish. Goose down provides a soft filling for the armrest and backrest cushions. The Clayton sofa is available fully upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or Pelle Frau® leather combined with a wide range of Poltrona Frau fabrics. The Clayton bench, which can be complemented with a cylindrical cushion, is a particularly versatile piece of furniture. The optional cylindrical cushion is available in Pelle Frau® fabric or leather. The leather cushion has distinctive 3D stitching that creates a tight weave of small diamonds.
