Description
With ''Intervalle,'' Guillaume Delvigne brings us a highly graphic table. Around the central opening, light flows pleasantly onto a tapering base shaped like an airplane wing. The two original features of this series lie as much in this central “fault line” and the way the two parts of the base emerge below it, as in the way the veins in the end grain used for the legs intersect with the veins in the flat grain wood used for the tops. All in all, it's a play of lines, directions and curves that we are invited to discover, regardless of the distance or angle from which the two tables are viewed. It is a way of paying homage to the nobility of the solid wood from which they are made. Solid wood dining table.
