Launched in 2009 and updated in 2016 and 2017 both in terms of increased functionality and availability in additional finishes, Book&Look has been updated again in 2019. These innovations include a new door latch system, the addition of recessed dressers (living room and sideboard items), a new bookcase size, and a significant expansion of the choice of finishes. New “push” door opening system: The current “push” system has been replaced by a new “push” latch also used in the Et Cetera collection: a box with a magnetized pin placed on the box and a galvanized plate embedded in the door. This system introduces a more reliable method of adjustment (by simply tightening or loosening the pin). The new “push” latch operates effortlessly: the door retains a central silicone pad that provides gentle and quiet control when closing. The “push” mechanism is light gray (for white, argile or pearl finishes) or black (for a seal finish) to coordinate with standard colors (and with darker “pack” colors). To liven up the fronts of living room furniture and sideboards, a decorative, functional recess arrangement has been added. The new alcoves can be placed in dressers designed with 2, 3, 4 or 6 doors (all possible combinations can be seen on the following price pages). The interior of the niche remains the same color as the chest.
