Description
Like the Ruché seat, the Ruché bed is lifted off the ground by a simple, delicate design that supports a comfortable sleeping platform. The headrest and frame are decorated with distinctive quilting, a type of stitch boutis with filling made using a cross-hatching of interrupted stitches. Alternately flattened by the stitches and then released, the fabric “rolls up” in places, giving rise to both its unique look and its name Ruché (a crinkled or pleated fabric that serves as a decoration on clothing). For Ligne Roset, Ruché also combines the unusual and the traditional. The unusual thing about this piece of furniture is its solid wood structure and the great traditional element: quilting, the very heart of its savoir-faire. The quilt's high legs and undulations create a harmonious combination of rigorous straight lines and soft, friendly curves. Structure and legs made of solid beech wood, reinforced with 3 crossbars made of 100 x 40 mm rectangular steel tubes. Headrest made of 3 layers of intersecting slats. Protective glides. Base offered in 3 finishes: matte lacquered natural beech, anthracite stained beech or red stained beech. Foam headrest cushion.
