Description
Like the Ruché seat, the Ruché bed is lifted off the ground by a simple, delicate design that supports a comfortable sleeping platform. The headrest and frame are decorated with distinctive quilting, a type of stitch boutis with filling made using a cross-hatching of interrupted stitches. Alternately flattened by the stitches and then released, the fabric “rolls up” in places, giving rise to both its unique look and its name Ruché (a crinkled or pleated fabric that serves as a decoration on clothing). For Ligne Roset, Ruché also combines the unusual and the traditional. The unusual thing about this piece of furniture is its solid wood structure and the great traditional element: quilting, the very heart of its savoir-faire. The quilt's high legs and undulations create a harmonious combination of rigorous straight lines and soft, friendly curves. Structure and legs made of solid beech wood, reinforced with 3 steel tube crossbars. Headrest made of 3 layers of intersecting slats. Protective glides. Base offered in 3 finishes: matte lacquered natural beech, anthracite stained beech or red stained beech. Headrest cushion made of polyurethane foam. Covering of the headrest and bed frame quilted with 300 gsm polyester and hyperelastic polyurethane foam. Highly refined quilting is achieved by a programmed sewing machine. Removable bed frame. Fabrics The Ruché model can be used with most smooth fabrics: velours, wools, thick fabrics, microfibers and leathers. Tabletop construction in natural beech wood, matte lacquered or stained red or anthracite. Base in satin black lacquered steel. Basket made of full-grain semi-aniline KYOTO bull leather (choice of different colors).
