While it may bring to mind some of the metal modular systems from the office world, Dita clearly distances itself from them in a number of ways: its lacquered panels are made of wood rather than sheet metal; its discreet profiles with a refined finish are perfectly spaced, cast and not part of the structure; its matching handle, which is lightweight and beautifully designed; and its small, slender legs, which continue the line of the design in a very natural way. The profiles are made of 15 x 15 mm anodized aluminum in a brushed bronze finish. All cases have interiors finished in argile lacquer. Sixteen exterior color options are available. A finished back panel (in the color of your choice) is available for select items; allowing these cases to float in the room. The handles are made of injected zamak, lacquered brown to match the profiles. The hinges are black. The 30 mm feet continue the line of the profiles and have a black lift. The new bookcase, 189 cm high, the same height as the storage column, has shelves in 17 finishes to choose from: smoky gray glass, satin white/argile/pearl lacquer, and 13 “custom” lacquer colors.
