Opis

The Mancala board game is one of the oldest known board games in the world, believed to have been created in 700 B.C. in East Africa. The name "Mancala" derives from the Arabic word "Naqala," which literally means "to move." The number of pieces used to play is symbolic: typically, 48 pieces are used, a number traditionally sacred in the vast majority of West African societies. The Ozwald Boateng x Poltrona Frau Mancala game consists of a solid wenge wood board and a set of 48 handcrafted Murano glass pieces, designed to create a visual effect resembling water droplets crossed by rays of light.
