Opis

MAX RECOMMENDED LOAD PER SHELF : 55 lbs. BOOKSHELF MUST BE FIRMLY FIXED TO A WALL TO PREVENT IT TIPPING FORWARDS. Ligne Roset presents the steel wire bookcase that Pierre Paulin had conceived in 1972. Minimalist in design, it unites the lacquer of its steel wire frame to the plywood of its shelves. It is constructed on a L 70 cm (27.5'') wide unit that can be enlarged at will. It is possible for example to construct a 2 unit L 140 cm (55'') bookcase by joining two L 70 cm (27.5'') ones that will be united by 2 nylon connecting pieces bearing the Pierre Paulin brand delivered with the frame of every unit. Each shelf is cut in notches into which the vertical posts of the frame are inserted for a reinforced stability. The shelves rest on small soldered steel wire arches soldered to the posts. Frame in lacquered 10 mm (0.4'') steel wire. Each L 70 (27.5'') unit is mounted on 4 adjustable foot-cylinders. The 3 module bookcase is constructed of three L 70 (27.5'') long units, joined together with liaison pieces, and L 210 (82.6'') long shelves. Shelves in 8 mm (0.31'') thick beech plywood, in stratified finish with wood-like beams. Useful space in every ''compartment'': L 33.3/13.1''- H 38/15'' - D 33/13''.
